Feed the Homeless

Our Feed the Homeless Day event is on Saturday, September 19 and we will partner with other Lutheran congregations to distribute snacks, toiletries, and clothing donations to more than 300 people at a park in Atlanta. This service event is put on by the Lutheran Outreach Partnership (a coalition of ELCA and LCMS churches) to help Stepping Stone Mission.

This year we specifically request donations of men’s and women’s walking shoes, rolling suitcases, new packages of underwear, shampoo, and deodorant. We also accept clean used clothing and appreciate cash donations to help us purchase needed items. Donated dry goods will be collected at the church. Please bring donated items to the bin in the Fellowship Hall before the September 19 and mark your cash donations for “Homeless.” If you can join us that morning, please contact the church office at the form below.
