Christian Education and Retreats

You are welcome to join in a Bible study or class at any time! There are two Sunday morning education classes at 10 A.M.,  and we offer weekly Bible studies for men (Monday evenings at 6:30 P.M.) and women (Tuesdays at 12 noon). In addition, our pastor teaches classes on What Lutherans Believe several times each year, and study groups meet during Advent and Lent to discuss the season’s theme.

Cross of Life retreats for men and women are a great opportunity to take a break from normal life and connect with God and others on a deeper level. The men’s retreat is held annually at the beginning of each year and the women’s retreat takes many forms, from being a weekend getaway at a lodge, to a one day retreat at a nearby clubhouse, to being held at the church.

Leadership Teams

Much of the work of and in the church is done by teams of volunteers, and there is a way for everyone to get involved. People who like to work with their hands may enjoy working with the landscaping team or property team. For people who like to cook, there are many opportunities to provide food or help in the church kitchen. For a list of our teams and the work they do, see our What We Believe page.

Fellowship Events

The Cross of Life book club meets the third Tuesday of the month at 7 P.M., and you may choose to meet in person or online through Zoom. This group reads a variety of books, prays together, and welcomes new members at any time. Cross of Life also has seasonl gatherings like a St. Patrick’s Day bunco party and Oktoberfest in the fall.
