Many of us face worries, anxieties, and fears as our lives unfold. Events such as loss, life changes, and challenges often occur, and it can be difficult to cope. In situations like these – even if the struggle is temporary – no one should have to struggle alone. And the good news is you don’t have to! Stephen Ministers, trained members of the congregation, have been commissioned by our church to give you caring, non-judgmental, attentive listening. They are trained to be there for you, to walk with you and care for you in your difficult times. Anything you share with them is kept strictly confidential. We’re here when you need love and support
Cross of Life is a caring community whose members walk alongside each other to provide love and support when life is challenging.
- Prayer Ministry: reaches out to and prays for those in need of prayer
- Communion / Visitation Ministry: takes consecrated communion elements to those not able to participate during our church services and visits members who are not able to leave their homes easily
- Meals Ministry: makes and delivers meals to church members having an event such as birth, death, emergency, hospitalization
- Funeral Ministry: plans and coordinates receptions for members’ funerals held at the church
