Church-Wide Rummage Sale

During this Season of Lent our congregation focused on simplifying their lives in many different ways — including de-cluttering those closets, attics, basements, and garages!  As a result, we are hosting a congregation-wide rummage sale, with ALL proceeds going to the ELCA World Hunger-Water Wells Project.  Additionally, any items not sold will be donated to North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC).

We are asking participating families to bring in their donated items, priced, on Friday, April 22, (not before!) to store in the Fellowship Hall.  A suggested pricing list is available above.  Each family will manage their own booth and sales (or find a family to share with).  Be sure to have cash on hand to make change.  Weather permitting, each participating family will set up their booth in the parking lot on Saturday morning at 8 a.m.

Donation tax letters will be available at the sale.  Participating families should keep a record of the items they bring to accompany the form.  Organizations such as Goodwill have Donation Value Guides available online to help you estimate the fair market value of your items (per the IRS, a charity by law cannot tell you what your donated items are worth).  We do ask that all your items be in good working order and condition.  We are not able to accommodate the following items: large furniture & appliances; beds, mattresses or box springs; swing sets, used car seats, and non-flat screen TV’s.


To participate, please contact the church office and let us know the following:

  • Your name (& the name of any other family you might be partnering with)
  • Whether you need a hanging rack for clothing items (These are available on a first come/first served basis)

We need to know if you are participating by April 15, 2016.
