Our 2017 Spring Build!

Cross of Life is part of the Lutheran Coalition for Habitat for Humanity and seeks to build a home each year. Volunteers offer both skilled and less-skilled labor, provide lunch for builders and get to know the receiving family with whom they work side-by-side.

The Lutheran Coalition for Habitat was established in 1993.  We built our first home in 1994 and have been building ever since.  There are currently 11 Lutheran Churches in the North Atlanta area who work closely with various chapters of Habitat for Humanity, other churches and companies in the Atlanta area to provide funding for affordable homes and volunteer construction labor for qualifying families.

In 2021, we joined forces with Habitat for Humanity-North Central Georgia to build a home for the Millers! We also participate in the annual Taste of Habitat fundraiser.

The Lutheran Coalition for Habitat for Humanity provides a great way for you to help love your neighbors by helping sponsor, donate or build.  For information on our participation in the Lutheran Coalition for Habitat for Humanity, look on the Information Station.
