Reformation 500 Upcoming Events
This October will be the 500th anniversary of the Reformation – a historic event which shaped not only the theological landscape but political, educational and socio-economic life as well. Cross of Life is joining hands with others to commemorate this important anniversary – don’t miss out on these upcoming events!
Joint Commemorations with St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church
Over the past 50 years, significant ecumenical dialogue has taken place between the world-wide Lutheran Church and the Roman Catholic Church, bringing us to deeper partnership and fellowship in the gospel. In recognition of our common Christian faith, Cross of Life and St. Andrew will commemorate the Reformation together.
Joint Prayers of Intercession
During the 6 months leading up to Reformation Sunday, both St. Andrew and Cross of Life
will use common Prayers of Intercession in worship – joining our hearts and minds in prayer,
drawing us closer to God and to these, our brothers and sisters in Christ.
