Parent’s Night Out has been paused during the pandemic.

Parent’s Night Out (PNO) is a series of events offered by the COL Youth Program. The youth (with the close supervision of adult volunteers*) lead activities and care for children giving their parents some time to relax and spend time with each other or with friends.

Children spend their time playing games, doing crafts, working on service projects, and watching movies.

We feel that PNO is a win-win situation, since the children have fun and build friendships, the youth gain leadership skills and raise funding for our programs, and parents get some well-deserved time to invest in their relationships with each other and with friends.

Events are held from 5:30-9:00. Dinner and a snack will be provided. Please let us know about any dietary concerns, which we are happy to accommodate.

Pricing is as follows:
First child from each family: $30
Each additional child from the same family: $15
Each additional 10 minutes after 9:00: $15 per family
Your donation is tax deductible.

The Deadline
We ask everyone to let us know by Tuesday if you are coming if at all possible. This helps us make sure we have enough volunteers, food (which is appropriate for food allergies and sensitivities), and supplies for activities like crafts and science experiments. It also helps us tailor the activities to the ages of the participants.

New participants
Your first time, please fill out the registration form (links above). It contains lots of useful details for you, and helps us plan for your child’s specific needs (according to age, food allergies, etc.).
Turning in the registration form or submitting it online counts as your RSVP.

Returning participants
You are no longer asked to fill out the whole registration form each time. We will keep your contact info, etc. on file.
Please fill out the first portion of the form to RSVP, there are instructions on the form about which part to fill out. You can also use the form to pay in advance.

All participants
You will be asked to confirm your contact info when you arrive, and will still be asked to sign your child(ren) in and out. The sign in sheet includes a waiver confirming your permission for your child to participate.

Payment
To pay with debit, credit, or Paypal, use our online form or pay at the door.
To pay with cash or check, bring it with you to the event or include it with your registration form. Please make checks out to Cross of Life with ‘PNO’ in the memo line.

*All volunteers have passed our application process, including a recent background check. Adult to child ratios are in accordance with our Nursery Policy, which follows Georgia state laws for childcare facilities.
