DESCRIPTION:Our Feed the Homeless Day event is on Saturday\, September 19 and we will partner with other Lutheran congregations to distribute snacks\, toiletries\, and clothing donations to more than 300 people at a park in Atlanta. This service event is put on by the Lutheran Outreach Partnership (a coalition of ELCA and LCMS churches) to help Stepping Stone Mission. \nThis year we specifically request donations of men’s and women’s walking shoes\, rolling suitcases\, new packages of underwear\, shampoo\, and deodorant. We also accept clean used clothing and appreciate cash donations to help us purchase needed items. Donated dry goods will be collected at the church. SUMMARY:Synod Revival Day: Woven Together... Forward in Faith
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, August 22nd\, 9:00AM-2:15PM \nLutheran Church of the Resurrection at 4814 Paper Mill Rd SE\, Marietta\, GA 30067\n$15 a person\, register by August 16th \nThe Southeastern Synod has been leading revival workshops all over Alabama\, Mississippi\, Tennessee\, and Georgia.  The one closest to our congregation will take place in Marietta.  These are open to all lay members of the Church\, confirmed youth\, and young adults.  In fact\, the Synod would love it if they could have at least 5-10 people from each congregation participate.  The three workshops look at reviving hospitality\, discipleship\, and worship\, and attendees will have the opportunity to participate in all three.  Registration is now closed for this event.

DESCRIPTION:Volunteers and Racers needed!\nJoin the Roswell community as we lace up our running shoes to honor a local hero.
