The Wednesdays of Advent

I Waited for the Lord ~ Advent Reflections on Revelation

In these tumultuous and difficult days, we long for God’s intercession, bringing about the completion of God’s kingdom through the 2nd advent (arrival) of our Lord Jesus. Living in trust, we pray: “Come Lord Jesus, Come!”
But what does that really mean? What do the scriptures tell us of Christ’s second coming? What can we expect at the end of time, on a personal, corporate and global scale? What does God’s vision granted to John on the Isle of Patmos say to us today – nearly 2000 years later? Come explore these thoughts on the Wednesdays of Advent.
